Peggy, one of our licensed aesthetician's here at Michael Todd gave us the lowdown on how to get summer ready skin for everyday of the week! Evenings are the perfect time for your epilating session. You will feel relaxed, and any minor skin irritations that may occur, including little bumps and redness, will disappear overnight. Plus: You'll wake up wonderfully smooth-legged in the morning! Take a hot bath or shower in warm water.
1. EXFOLIATE; your skin before undergoing any hair removal procedure to get rid of dead, dry skin cells which in turn will lessen the likelihood of clogged pores and ingrown hair problems. Using the Michael todd Walnut Grapefruit Polishing Scrub.
2. HAIR ERASER; Dry your skin well, but do not apply and lotions and creams before using the epilator.
3. MOISTURIZE; immediately after epilating and always epilate the eveningbefore you are flaunting those pins, this way your skin will be gorgeously soft from moisturizing and it will also give your skin a chance for the redness to calm down. One of Michael Todd's most moisturizing and soothing cream is the Damascus Rose, a little after epilating will soothe the skin with Rosehip seed oil, avocado oil and jojoba oil to provide extra moisture to the skin.
